How can I change the reference style used?
You can switch between the Harvard and APA (American Psychological Association) in Reference Tracker's preference window. Select 'Preferences...' from the 'Reference Tracker' window to open the window. Click on the 'General' button at the top of the window to see the reference style options.
Can I create reference lists in styles other than Harvard or APA?
Currently, Reference Tracker only creates reference lists in the Harvard or APA styles. However, if there is demand we will be happy to add support for different styles in future updates. If there is a different referencing style you would like us to include email us with the details.
Can the 'Send to' menu work with word processors other that Word and Pages?
Currently, only Word and Pages are supported with the 'Send to' feature. However, if there is demand we will be happy to add support for additional word processors in future updates. If there is a word processor you would like us to include email us with the details.
Where does the publication search get its information?
Reference Tracker's publication search currently accesses the US Library of Congress, Copac (a unified database of UK national and university libraries) and your nearest Amazon website.
Can I change which Amazon site Reference Tracker searches?
Yes, you can choose between Avaiable Amazon sites are UK (amazon.co.uk), USA (amazon.com), Canada (amazon.ca), Germany (amazon.de), France (amazon.fr) and Japan (amazon.co.jp). You can select your preferred site in Reference Tracker's preferences window (select 'Reference Tracker > Preferences...')
Known Issues
Reference Tracker may crash when importing a formatted reference list that contains conference paper references. This issue will be resolved in the next update.
The Reference Current Page in Firefox feature is not yet compatible with Firefox version 3. We are working on adding support for this version.
